Curriculum
We have develop an outstanding curriculum in the area of Biblical and Creative Arts. These are some of the courses and workshops that we are offering:
MISSION THEATER WORKSHOP (Street Theater, Guerrilla Theater, Invisible Theater, Collective Creation Theater, Newspaper Theater)
The purpose of the Mission’s Theater Workshopmain purpose is to explore the different styles of alternative theater. Not every neighborhood, community or missionary field is suitable for traditional theater. The workshop will explore the methodology and techniques of alternative theater and its relevance in different environments. Also, the workshop will explore the creation and development of props, makeup, costumes, lights and scenery with a low budget or no budget at all.
CREATING WRITING WORKSHOP
The objective of the Creative Writing Workshop is to teach a series of exercises that help the students develop their writing skills and unleash their imaginations.
ARTHEALS INITIATIVE
The purose of the ArtHeals Initiative is to create and develop a performance piece with the objective to be performed, for example, at a hospital or healing center.
PROJECT BEZALEEL
The goal of Project Bezaleel is to create and develop a performance piece with the objective to be performed, for example, on the streets, community centers, prisons or schools.
THE GIFT OF ART: AN INTRODUCTION TO THE ARTS IN THE BIBLE
The Gift of Art: an Introduction to the Arts in the Bible main purpose is to give the student an overview of the arts in the Bible with the intent to motivate the student to search and explore a more deep understanding of the biblical arts. Main topics will explore, among others, the origin of art, the purpose of art, Bezaleel and his artistic calling, music, dance, visual arts and poetry.
